Collapsed (And Nothing Is Meaningful Anymore)
I realized I'm not the only one,
God, I hope you're there,
Otherwise I'm done.
When I was young,
You held my hand,
And blasphemes whip off of my tongue.
I'm distraught,
Your presence is invisible,
My faith is not.
You drove the spear into your son's side,
I didn't weep,
I am the one who died.
You left me here,
I don't worship anything,
My spiritual blindness is clear.
I'm prepared to take this wasted life,
In vein,
You left me to this darkness and strife.
We are one soul,
We are one body,
This holy union makes us all whole.
A beating heart can bleed,
And it's death's only chance,
The scythe she yearns to feed.
We wade through the sadness,
What happened to the happiness?
Blood and skin stains a life's canvas.
A woman couldn't love,
Such a pitiful spirit,
I will now ascend to the hell above.
The place where I was forsaken,
My father, you destroyed a life,
And my will to live on has been taken.
When the smoke is cleared
And death has her peaceful relapse
Back into your arms I'll run,
While my soul is ruined, and collapse.
